So, this was a busy weekend. My friend Kim came to visit. She drove up on Friday and I meet her at the house. We stayed in Friday night and had chicken wings and tater tots. We watched bad TV and talked.
On Saturday, we got up and went S-H-O-P-P-I-N-G! We have quite a few consignment shops in the neighborhood and then we went to a cool bead store here in Charlotte. We talked to my Mom to tell her again that I was not cooking for Easter. Kim and I went to BJs to get a ham for Sunday. That night Kim took pictures of me for a project I am working on. Lots of scene changes and shirt changes! But we got some good pics of me.
Yesterday, we drove out to my house in the county. The boy refers to it as the Estate. We took some pictures of siding, gutters and the roof since Mom said they needed repaired. We tried to figure out what she was talking about - evidently someone pushed the siding back in. While we were outside Kim took a quick picture of me. I sent the pictures of the house and the side shot of me to the boy so that he could see what was wrong. The boy asked if the picture was the my "pensive wtf look? lol", I asked if he thought the picture was funny? He said the picture was nice, it was just juxtaposed against the others which made it funny. Oh well.
Mom and Garry came over with potato salad, green beans and banana pudding. What Southern meal is complete without these?? I had the ham, peas and macaroni and cheese. It was a good meal!

April, sounds like you had a very nice Easter. I gave my hubby david a break and let him watch a whole weekend of Masters Golf and I fixed him BBcue Chicken, Potato Salad, baked Beans and a Mrs PUBLIX easter cake. I wish we could have been in Jax with Carol and the rest of the family. Maybe next year.
